Jon is a Graduate again!!

After 2 short years Jon graduated with a MBA from Westminster College! I am so proud of him and had to share some of the pictures that we took of the fun event! He had a MBA pinning ceremony on May 27th and his graduation ceremony was on May 29th. Congratulations babe on all your hard work!! love you xo ~Jess~

Us kids and grandkids are all here because of today. This special day. Today is the day mom and dad got married 33 years ago :) So Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!!!!! Fishing Trip

These are pictures of Grandpa Richins, Grandpa Watterson, Alexis, and Breannas' fishing trip. On Thursday they went out to the pond by Jon's work. Alexis caught the most fish (5), and Breanna caught the biggest fish. It looks like they had alot of fun. They are all excited to go again.

I can't believe all the little things that have happened to Hope this week of all weeks Jon is gone!! First she has started to pull up on everything and I mean anything that is taller then her and she can grab, which makes me have to rethink my statement before about having a 6 month old for the rest of my life cause boy has she decided to put growing up in over-drive :)

Hear is the bigger news! Ready for this you all might want to make sure your sitting down... Hope finally after months of wondering when still is not crawling (lol) but wait! it's good news I promise... she has her first tooth!! Yes that is right at 8 1/2 months we have a tooth poking out on the front bottom left!

So there is my news and as always I like to throw in some pics for fun! The ones of the girls outside are today ( I love the one of Breanna she looks so grown up!) and then we have Hope who has managed for the first time to pull herself up onto her toy basket to find some goodies, and last who can resist the cute bathtub pic, they have so much fun together I just love it!!

I just thought I would post some pictures of the family from the last month or so. Breanna just finished her fall/winter dance season so I thought I would just get some of those pics on. Jon has been helping my Dad with his roof at my parents cabin and I have proof!! lol or at least he is holding a saw in the pictures! Hope is still just a scooter, I don't think she well ever crawl so we are working on standing, however, Hope is very content just rolling around on the ground and chewing on anything that touches her hands! We are all just having fun hanging out :)

Here are pics from our annual Easter party. Sorry it took so long mom and dad. We all love and miss you very much! Breanna was telling everyone that grandma and grandpa are in Texas, Austin Texas! She is so smart! Everyone got tons of candy and got really full!

So Breanna and Hope had their well child check-up today and I have to say I have some petite girlies on my hands! Breanna is weighing in at 27 1/2 lbs. which is in the 25% for weight and her height is 36 1/2 in. and that is at 50% for her age group. Hope is now a whopping 16 lbs. which is 25% for weight and 24 3/4 in. long which is 5% (no typo, lol) for height in her age group. Both girls are right on target physically and mentally!! Breanna is ready to go back to school tomorrow after being off for a week and our little Hope is about 2 weeks away from crawling, although she already scoots like crazy and since our carpet is long she grabs it and pulls herself around! It is a hoot to watch :) Happy and healthy we are so far this week!! -Jess-

Breanna had her 3rd birthday party on Saturday at McDonalds here in Tooele. We had about 10 kids running around!! Breanna had a blast!! She had a really cute princess cupcake cake and got lots of fun things from all her friends and cousins! She is getting to big!!

Alexis is getting baptized

I will let every one know when we have more details, but for now, she is getting baptized on March 7th and confirmed on March 8th, her 9th birthday. She is very excited. We are going to be doing her baptism then a combo birthday party at our house afterwards :) So set the date aside please!

On a sad note, her favorite missionary has said goodbye to go to WVC. Here is a pic of her and Elder Ramos.

Corys Surgery

I know that most of you already know, but for those who don't, Cory's surgery went real well. They shortened the two ligaments that hold the ankle bone. Also, there was a lot of scar tissue that they removed, and fixed a chip on the bone. He is in a hard cast for about 3 weeks, then a walking boot for 3 weeks. He will have to wear an ankle brace everyday for about 1 year. He should be back to work in 6 weeks.

Well finally an update on us. I am living and working in Lehi, UT at CH Robinson and Derek has a house in Tooele and works at CR England in West Valley. We have been dating since August 2008. Derek has an almost 4 year old daughter named Kaitlyn. We spend most of our time just hanging out watching movies and me cooking dinner. Occasionally we go out and love sushi! Our jobs are time consuming and very stressful so we love to relax! Derek goes to Beaver every weekend where he is from and his daughter lives and I work at the gas station by my house while he is gone to pass the time. It gives us date money at least. Derek is currently working in Ontario CA and will be home every weekend to visit! We love coming out to Tooele and spending time with the family and lately playing Cranium even though Jon thinks everyone cheats! I will get better at updating this more often mom! I will post pictures tomorrow!

I guess I will post an update too for those that might not be up to speed on us. Above are our three beautiful munchkins. Alexis will be nine in March, Payton is seven, and baby James is almost 8 months.

Tim and I are planning an August wedding, and he just left for California on Saturday. We are already hugely missing each other. He is working to get settled in there to start his new job in an oil refinery. We moved into a new house in Overlake at the end of November and we LOVE it. It has so much more room. WE went from 1100 sq feet to over 2500 and it is so much better. Plus, we have a huge yard, and the kids are itching to be able to play in it. I am excited to have room to plant a good sized garden this year.

James has eight teeth and is working on two more. He is officially mobile and is all over the place these days. He crawls/scoots/rolls every where he wants to be. He is starting to eat off the table and will eat anything we will feed him. We have to be careful with our fingers though because he bites hard :) We just went through our first hospital stay with RSV, but he is doing well now.

Alexis in third grade. The kids just moved to a new school on Dec 1st. Her new teacher's name is Mrs. Chacon, who also happens to be a friend of mommy's. She has two of her good friends from the old house in her new class. She is doing very well in school. She is a huge help with the baby. She is active in Girl Scouts and is in the middle of cookie selling.

Payton is in first grade. He is learning to read. He loves playing Jr. Jazz basketball. He loves all video games and is loving the new Wii we got for Christmas :) he doesnt have too many close friends in the new neighborhood yet. But, as friendly as he is, we know once it warms up he will have made lots of new friends.

As for me, I am back to work part time. I am still running my business, but very much much enjoying al the family time I spend at home. I am busy working on getting ready to plant our new vegetable garden, and have fond a new joy in baking :) I hope everyone is well and we will post updates soon.

Here we are!!! The Jon Watterson Clan is blogging :) I am not sure who all is going to be reading this so for those that do see us a lot well this is a good recap! Jon is currently going to school at Westminster to get his MBA and has been employed for almost a year at a place called Egng. I am still doing Lia Sophia and I still really enjoy it and I spend most of my days chasing Breanna who will be 3 on Feb. 24th and started Pre-school a couple weeks ago, little tike I wish she would slow down but I don't really see that happening. Then we have a newest Hope, she will be 4 months on Feb. 6th and is getting ready to roll! She has the most bubbly personality and is a pretty easy baby so far! We could never forget about Mac our 2 and a half year old yellow lab, he is big and is very gentle, especially with babies. So this is our family in a nut shell!!
